This beautiful Italian Villa, once located on the Pennsylvania University campus at 3903 Spruce Street, was for many years a home of the internationally famous historican, professor Henry Charles Lea (1825-1912). Later it was used as a student fraternity house. In 1962 it was certified as an historic structure, but in the summer of 1969 it was demolished to make room for campus expansion.
